Job summary

Omega Subsea is seeking an experienced ROV Tooling Engineer with a hands-on ROV background to take technical ownership of our tooling portfolio. You will work with offshore personnel, project teams, customers and manufacturing partners to develop, standardise and manage lifecycle aspects of ROV tooling systems.

You will lead workshop technicians, coordinate maintenance and repairs, and ensure mobilisation readiness while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in ROV operations or similar subsea operations.
• Hands-on ROV tooling experience in offshore, subsea or workshop environments.
• Strong hydraulic and practical electrical knowledge.
• Experience in equipment maintenance, fault-finding and repair.
• Experience leading or coordinating technicians.
• Good understanding of ROV tooling interfaces and control systems.
• Familiarity with asset management and maintenance systems.
• Strong English communication skills; Norwegian is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Technical ownership of the ROV tooling fleet and its integrity.
• Coordinate maintenance, servicing and repairs; mobilise tooling as required.
• Provide technical leadership to workshop technicians and support troubleshooting.
• Define tooling interfaces, connections and configurations; ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Develop maintenance plans, procedures and spare parts strategies.
• Coordinate workshop activities to meet mobilisation schedules.
