Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Analyst to coordinate drivers, trucks, and containers to maximize capacity and productivity while delivering prompt, courteous service to customers.

You will supervise routing, safety, and customer experience, analyze logistics data, and drive improvements to route design and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Analytical and problem-solving abilities required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Ability to understand and execute time-sensitive tasks.
• Experience in a customer-facing position.
• Two years of dispatcher or similar leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee drivers, trucks, and containers to maximize capacity and productivity.
• Analyze daily routing information and implement changes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Respond to same-day changes and plan for next-day service needs to optimize route design.
• Ensure routes are closed on time and data is accurate.
• Monitor driver safety and asset security and provide direction to drivers.
• Communicate with drivers to ensure they have necessary information and resolve issues promptly.
