Job summary

Metrolina Greenhouses Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Routing Coordinator to support daily transportation operations in Huntersville, NC.

You will develop efficient delivery routes, maintain routing data, and assist drivers and teams to ensure timely product movement and customer satisfaction. The role requires at least a high school diploma and 1 year in logistics or related fields, with strong maps interpretation and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1 year experience in logistics, routing, dispatching, transportation coordination, shipping, or related environment.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
Strong geographic knowledge and ability to interpret maps and routing systems.
Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Create and optimize daily delivery and pickup routes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
Monitor route performance and make real-time adjustments for delays or changes.
Maintain accurate customer, delivery, routing, and transportation data.
Serve as primary contact for drivers, answering route-related questions and resolving issues.
Coordinate with shipping, customer service, production, and transportation teams to ensure on-time deliveries and pickups.
Prepare and maintain routing reports, shipping docs, manifests, and transportation records.
Identify opportunities to improve routing efficiency and service levels.
Perform data entry, filing, scanning, and other administrative duties.
