Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling in Marion, KY is seeking a Non-CDL Box Truck Driver to safely collect and deliver used tires along assigned routes with a two-person team. You will load, secure, and transport tires while maintaining accurate route documentation and customer interactions.

This full-time position requires at least 1 year of box truck experience, adherence to DOT/FMCSA requirements, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21 years old.
• Must meet FMCSA non-CDL driver qualifications.
• Acceptable DOT-compliant driving record.
• Minimum of 1 year box truck driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a non-CDL box truck on assigned routes to remove used tires from customer locations.
• Work as part of a two-person team with a Route Helper to manually load, stack, lace, and secure used tires onto the truck.
• Manually handle and stack waste tires weighing up to 50 pounds each throughout the workday.
• Serve as the primary point of contact at customer locations, including obtaining signatures and completing required service documentation.
• Ensure loads are properly stacked, secured, and compliant with DOT and company safety requirements before transport.
• Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment; report maintenance or safety concerns immediately.
• Accurately complete route paperwork and required company or customer documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, route helpers, and operations staff regarding route status, delays, or service issues.
• Navigate assigned routes using maps, GPS, and dispatch instructions while accounting for traffic, weather, and site conditions.
• Maintain professional and courteous interactions with customers, tire stores, dispatch, and internal teams.
• Follow all Liberty Tire Recycling safety policies, environmental standards, and operational procedures.
