Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling in Minerva, OH is seeking a Non-CDL Box Truck Driver to safely operate a box truck on routine tire collection routes. You will work with a Route Helper to load, stack, and secure tires, while maintaining DOT safety standards and accurate route documentation.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, driving on varied routes, and professional interactions with customers and dispatch. Prior box truck experience is preferred. This position is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• Must meet FMCSA driver qualification requirements as applicable to non-CDL drivers.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record in compliance with DOT standards.
• Minimum of 1 year of box truck driving experience.
• Experience performing manual loading and customer-facing route service (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a non-CDL box truck on assigned routes to remove used tires from customer locations.
• Work as part of a two-person team with a Route Helper to manually load, stack, lace, and secure used tires onto the truck.
• Manually handle and stack waste tires weighing up to 50 pounds each throughout the workday.
• Serve as the primary point of contact at customer locations, including obtaining signatures and completing required service documentation.
• Ensure loads are properly stacked, secured, and compliant with DOT and company safety requirements before transport.
