Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Support Route Driver to fill in on open routes and support daily delivery operations in Fergus Falls, MN. You will cover varying routes, ensure safe, timely deliveries, and maintain service standards.

The role requires flexibility, a valid driver's license and a DOT-eligible background; starting wage is $20.00–$24.00 per hour with overtime opportunities and potential weekend OT as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or temporarily unassigned routes as needed.
• Deliver and pick up freight in a timely manner from customers and shippers.
• Inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle.
• Load the truck efficiently to maximize space and prevent damage.
• Collect payments for certain packages delivered.
• Verify the content of pickups on shipping papers.
• Notify management of problems or discrepancies.
• Maintain professional appearance and vehicle cleanliness.
• Travel may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
