Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service is opening a new branch in Missouri. The Support Route Driver will fill in on open or unassigned routes to support daily delivery operations, with flexibility to cover varying routes and schedules while maintaining safety and service standards.

The position details include a Monday–Friday schedule starting at 7:30 AM, with overtime as needed and potential weekend OT. Wage range is $20.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Hold a valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or temporarily unassigned route based on business needs.
• Deliver and pick up freight in a timely manner from customers and shippers.
• Inspect and report any mechanical problems with the vehicle.
• Load the truck in an organized manner to effectively use space and prevent damage to packages.
• Collect payments for certain packages delivered.
• Verify the content of pickups on shipping papers.
• Notify management of any problems or discrepancies.
• Maintain professional personal appearance as well as cleanliness of vehicle.
• Travel may be required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
