Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of truck driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn and memorize five routes serving about 1,500 residents.
• Operate a rear loading packer truck for refuse collection.
• Ensure safety of two collectors riding in the back.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily and report deficiencies.
• Plan routes and instruct collectors on safety procedures.
• Maintain daily logs of 311 complaints and recycling collections.
• Drive in varied weather conditions from landfill to dumping site.
• Attend safety meetings and comply with policies.
