Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring for a hands-on position focused on servicing, repairing, and recharging fire extinguishers and related equipment at customer sites and in-shop facilities. The role requires physical capability and commitment to safety, with opportunities to support hydrostatic testing and on-road technician assistance.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled servicing, repair, and recharging of hand portable fire extinguishers, wheeled units, and kitchen suppression cylinders.
• Perform hydrostatic testing and repair of fire hoses.
• Assist on-road technicians and support deliveries/pickups at customer locations.
• Pick orders for shipping and receive/stock items in designated areas.
• Maintain shop/work area cleanliness and repair service equipment as needed.

What you will do

HIRING HOURLY RANGE

$16.44 - 22.59 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
