Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a hands-on technician to service and recharge hand portable fire extinguishers, wheeled units, and kitchen suppression cylinders. You will also perform hydrostatic testing and support on-road technicians at customer sites, handling deliveries and stock movement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Capable of performing physical labor including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Adherence to safety guidelines and procedures.
• Self-starter who can work with little to no supervision.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled servicing, repair, and recharging of hand portable fire extinguishers, wheeled units, and kitchen suppression cylinders.
• Perform hydrostatic testing and repair of fire hoses.
• Assist on-road technicians with a variety of required work.
• Perform deliveries/pickup at customer locations and suppliers where required.
• Picking orders to prepare for shipping.
• Receive and put stock away in designated areas.
• Maintain general cleanliness throughout the shop and work area.
• Repair service equipment where required.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $16.44 - 22.59 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience,knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with marketdata.)
