Job summary
To establish, maintain and build strong customer relationships through responsive and creative sales and service strategies. To grow existing customer business through sales and service strategies. Provide prompt, effective solutions to customer needs. To maximize route revenue through improved time management and upgraded product mix. To maximize contract term by identifying changes in programs that require updated paperwork (re-signing accounts prior to expiration). To be CITY Laundering Co’s face to our customers and potential customers.
Duties and essential job functions
- Increase account revenue by selling additional products and services, successfully complete sales programs, develop and implement strategies to identify new business opportunities. Maintain open communication with the Route Supervisor for troubleshooting.
- Identify and resolve customer concerns, ensure satisfaction, develop positive relationships with principal contacts, and maintain professionalism. Maximize customer contract term.
- Manage route efficiently to maximize productivity and revenue; operate company equipment safely, comply with safety regulations, and maintain a clean driving record.
- Increase account revenue through rate increases, product samples, flyers, and brochures.
- Identify new business opportunities such as sales leads, competitor invoicing, and logo mat artwork.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and maximize contract terms.
- Manage route efficiency, safety, and positive communication with customers and co-workers.
- Maintain product knowledge including pricing, inventory, and application.
- Handle paperwork accurately including garment orders, invoices, credits, and collections.
- Manage product logistics such as load sheets, inventories, and quality control.
- Organize truck loads, invoices, and paperwork.
- Maintain the appearance of account setups and organize equipment.
- Ensure timely truck maintenance, cleanliness, and communicate repairs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and drive a commercial vehicle for at least 10 hours daily.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Requirements: Clean driving record, valid driver’s license, 3-5 years of related experience preferred, must be 25 years or older, physical requirements as per attachment A.
