Laurel Linen Service, Inc. is seeking a Route Sales/Service Driver to deliver textiles and disposable products on an established route, building trusted relationships with customers in hospitality, healthcare, and related industries.

You will interact with customers to identify opportunities, earn commission, and maintain delivery records, while loading and delivering up to 50 pounds and working outdoors in varying weather. The role combines independence with a supportive, team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

Job description

As a Route Sales/Service Driver for our company, will be making a significant difference in the lives of customers of many businesses that you will personally know and trust. We are a growing, family-owned and professionally managed company, in business since 1934 with a long history of serving customers throughout the Restaurant, Hospitality, and Healthcare industries. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Position picks up and delivers textile and disposable products to customers on an established route
• Frequent interaction with customers, and selling products with commission opportunities
• This position is labor intensive, requiring loading, pushing, pulling and lifting to 50lbs
• It also requires reaching, squatting and bending while delivering products to the customers and delivering products across a wide variety of weather conditions

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have flexibility in hours (early morning start and finish in afternoon)
• Prior route delivery experience within a service industry, helpful but not necessary
• Clean driving record required
• Pass the required background checks
• Pass the required drug test and physical capabilities test

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pick up and deliver textile and disposable products to customers on an established route
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through excellent service
• Interact with customers regularly and identify opportunities to sell additional products and services
• Earn additional income through commission opportunities
• Load, push, pull, and lift products weighing up to 50 pounds
• Repeatedly reach, squat, bend, and maneuver products throughout the workday
• Work outdoors and drive in a variety of weather conditions
• Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure customer orders are handled correctly
• Represent the company professionally with every customer interaction

QUALIFICATIONS
