Job summary

The Route Service Representative at Gallagher Uniform in Battle Creek, MI handles pick-up and delivery of uniforms, mats, towels and related items for an established customer base, presenting a professional image and exceptional service during every visit.

Responsibilities include timely, courteous service; safe driving; product knowledge; accurate recording on handheld devices; renewing service agreements; and upselling to hit sales targets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Chauffer's license and driving record meeting Gallagher Uniform's insurance carrier standards.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a 1-2 Year DOT (Department of Transportation) card.
• Able to lift and carry bundles weighing up to 85 pounds short distances.
• Able to climb in and out of a truck several times a day in all kinds of weather.
• Outgoing, engaging personality; customer service experience preferred.
• Organized with strong communication skills and time management.
• Willingness to run an overnight route once/week.

Salary Range: $24.72 - $27.58 Hourly

Summary

The Route Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional service to an established customer base through the pick-up and delivery of uniforms, mats, towels, etc.. The Route Service Representative must effectively respond to the customer's needs and also introduce new products as needed. The Route Service Representative will consistently maintain and present a professional image of Gallagher Uniform through excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
