Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Service Representative to manage a dedicated route, delivering and picking garments daily while growing customer relationships. You will support daily operations, ensure accuracy, and represent UniFirst on the road with a strong emphasis on safety and reliable service.

The role is field-based with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule, offering earnings potential through commissions as you upsell products and expand your route.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• DOT requirements, including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service skills; able to work independently.
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Tech-savvy; comfortable using new technologies.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Manage an Assigned Route: primary contact for customers, delivering and picking garments daily.
• Support Daily Operations: load/unload route trucks and ensure accuracy.
• Deliver Consistent, Reliable Service: on-time deliveries and returns with high customer satisfaction.
• Grow Customer Relationships: build rapport and upsell products to enhance experience.
• Drive Sales Growth: identify upselling opportunities on your route.
• Represent UniFirst on the Road: operate company walk-in truck with a focus on safety.
• Engage in a Physically Active Role: indoor and outdoor work requiring energy and attention to safety.
• Contribute to Service Excellence: troubleshoot issues and manage inventory.
• Maintain a Predictable Schedule: Monday–Friday daytime hours with no nights or weekends.
