Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Service Representative to manage an assigned route, delivering and picking garments daily while representing the company with reliability and care.

You will build strong customer relationships, identify upsell opportunities, and support daily operations including loading/unloading trucks, all while maintaining safety standards. This role offers a Monday–Friday daytime schedule with commission from day one and growth opportunities within the nationwide UniFirst network.

Qualifications

• Driver's License & Safe Driving Record: must be at least 21 and have a valid driver's license, clean record, and reliable transportation.
• Educational requirements: High school diploma or CAEC is required.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
• Relevant experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Tech-savvy and able to use new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned route: primary contact for customers, delivering and picking garments daily.
• Support daily operations: assist service team with loading and unloading route trucks.
• Deliver consistent, reliable service: on-time deliveries and returns with strong customer satisfaction.
• Grow customer relationships: build rapport and upsell products to enhance their experience.
• Drive sales growth: identify upselling opportunities and expand the route earning potential.
• Represent UniFirst on the road: operate a company walk-in truck along designated routes with safety as a priority.
• Engage in a physically active role: work in indoor and outdoor environments requiring energy and attention to safety.
• Contribute to service excellence: troubleshoot issues, manage inventory, and ensure safety standards.
• Maintain a predictable schedule: Monday–Friday daytime hours with no nights, weekends serving the same route.
