Job summary

UniFirst in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Route Service Manager to recruit, train, and lead a team of Route Service Representatives and Supervisors delivering to multiple customers daily, from small family-owned businesses to large corporate locations. You will strengthen customer relationships, drive satisfaction, collaborate with the location management team on programs, and negotiate contract renewals.

Must have strong leadership, problem-solving, and MS Office skills; a high school diploma or GED

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED – bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability problem solve and handle a variety customer service situations
• Ability to negotiate, train, coach and lead a team
• Strong computer proficiency (MS Office)
• 21 years of age
• Valid non-commercial driver’s license in the state of residence
• Must meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Oversee the recruiting, training, and development of a team of Route Service Representatives and Route Service Supervisors
• Build strong relationships with your customers and elevate your team’s level of achievement in customer satisfaction
• Collaborate closely with location management team to provide the best customer service and product programs
