Clean Harbors in Clackamas, OR is seeking a Route Salesperson/Driver to manage a defined customer route, deliver and service parts washer machines, and drive a Class B box truck after CDL training. This role offers uncapped commissions and a $5K signing bonus for eligible candidates.

Starting pay ranges from $25.00 to $27.00 per hour DOE, with overtime opportunities and full benefits after onboarding. Company-paid training, growth potential, and stock purchase options are available.

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by following safe work practices and regulations
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions
• Service parts washer machines and remove sediment from sinks
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field
• Service automotive repair fleets and manufacturing businesses
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups on time
• Follow all local, state and federal compliance regulations and DOT requirements
• Observe all environmental health and safety operating guidelines

• General Labor is a must- moving various sizes of containers such as 5gal pails to 55gal drums etc., using hand carts, drum dollies, pallet jacks

Responsibilities

• Service automotive repair, fleets, and manufacturing type businesses
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pick-ups in a timely manner
• Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements
• Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class B
• Basic computer and math skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Perform physical functions per job requirements
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Commercial route driving experience (Class C or Non-CDL)
