Safety-Kleen in San Jose, CA is seeking a Route Driver with a Class B CDL to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products on a defined route.

New CDL holders are welcome and training is provided. Starting pay is $31.00 hourly DOE + OT, with comprehensive benefits after 30 days including 401(k) with match, stock purchase plan, tuition reimbursement and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B is required.
• Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Background check, drug test and physical may be required by position.

Responsabilités

• Ensure Health and Safety as the top priority by following safe work practices and policies.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean sediment from sinks.
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.
• Service automotive repair fleets and manufacturing businesses.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries and pickups on time.
• Follow all local, state and federal compliance regulations and DOT requirements.
• Operate vehicles safely under required regulations.
• Adhere to environmental and health & safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class B
• Obtain Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire
• Basic computer and math skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Perform physical functions per job requirements
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Commercial route driving experience (Class C or Non-CDL)
