Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Independence, MO is hiring a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee. This role trains to drive a Class B box truck to service parts washers, pickup hazardous waste, and sell products on a defined route. CDL sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL required or to be obtained; Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days.
• Must obtain Hazmat/Tanker endorsements within 90 days.
• Basic computer and math skills; good communication; strong customer service.
• Physically capable to perform job duties and pass background/drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is priority while following policies.
• Visit 10-12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean sediment from sinks.
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.
• Service automotive repair, fleets, and manufacturing type businesses.
• Perform daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups.
• Operate vehicles in compliance with DOT and regulations.
