Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Route Sales Relief Driver to build partnerships with customers and drive route growth. You will engage with decision-makers to understand needs, promote service agreements, and help retain accounts.

You will load/unload products, ensure proper stock, maintain vehicle, and comply with DOT rules while working with the GM, RSM, CSM, and CSA teams to address issues. This role emphasizes customer service, account ownership, and the ability to respond quickly to changing demands

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a position requiring heavy public contact.
• High School Diploma/ GED required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain DOT certification to operate DOT regulated vehicles.
• Must have clean driving record for 5 years.
• Ability to communicate at high efficiency and effectiveness with clients and operations staff.
• Ability to respond quickly to changing demands.
• The incumbent is proficient or can be trained to sell products to customers.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and customer service skills
• Must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance with the CMV policy and a valid driver's license.
• Client interaction, communication, organization/time management are critical to the success of this role.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales expectations and promote route growth, service agreement renewal, and customer retention to enhance profitability.
• Identify opportunities to solicit new business and increase revenue by selling new items to current customers and obtaining new accounts.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and provide outstanding service with an account ownership mindset.
• Focus on account retention and respond quickly to customer issues and opportunities as the primary contact.
• Ensure products are loaded/unloaded safely, stocked, rotated, and maintained; ensure equipment is clean.
• Operate Company vehicles safely and in compliance with DOT requirements.
• Verify daily maintenance of the vehicle and keep the interior clean and organized.
• Responsible for and respectful of Aramark assets.
• Install and maintain inventory levels at customer locations with proper quality and working condition.
• Account for monies and products daily according to guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams about pending problems or competitor activity.
