Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Kyle, Texas, is seeking a Route Sales Representative to meet customer needs through up-selling and cross-selling while delivering excellent service on every route. You will report to the District Manager and help maintain a profitable product mix.

The role requires a valid driver’s license with a clean record, at least one year of driving experience, strong English communication, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships on the road.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license; CDL when applicable.
• Clean driving record with no chargeable incidents.
• Minimum one year of safe driving experience.
• Strong customer service and route sales skills.
• Excellent English communication.
• Ability to recognize colors, sizes and product types and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Solicit new customers and upsell/cross-sell across all lines.
• Participate in promotions, training and audits.
• Follow policies for installation of new customers and service management.
• Build customer loyalty and resolve concerns with supervision.
• Safely operate delivery vehicle and maintain cleanliness.
• Process customer payments and keep route paperwork current.
• Ensure timely deliveries and proper inventory in accounts.
• Monitor competitive activity and renew service agreements.
• Return from route with soiled textiles to the facility.
• Prepare route paperwork and follow check-in procedures.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and perform other tasks as directed.
