Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Route Sales Professional to service the Salem, OR area. The role focuses on merchandising, stocking, and maintaining product freshness while driving sales through new display space and promotions.

Responsibilities include route settlement, documenting invoices and cash, and safely operating the company truck. 21+ with a valid license and DOT requirements apply; benefits are offered and a strong customer network is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT medical card.
• Chauffeur License may be required depending on location.
• 1–3 years of DSD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• merchandise, stock, and ensure proper rotation of products on store shelves and displays to guarantee quality and freshness.
• Drive sales by securing new display space and using data to inform store-level strategies.
• Follow up on new account opportunities and build strong customer relationships while executing promotions.
• Introduce new products and services to maximize sales and shelf space within existing accounts and when pursuing new customers.
• Conduct daily route settlement procedures to account for products, invoices, and cash while maintaining inventory counts.
• Safely drive the company route truck and complete DOT daily logs.
• Submit other required documentation, paperwork, and deposits on time.
