Job summary

Flowers Foods is seeking a Route Sales Representative for Southern California to manage order taking, sales, and delivery of fresh baked products. This role requires a neat, professional appearance and strong customer relationships, with start times around 3:00am and flexible hours to meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate has delivery driver experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• Delivery driver experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Have had a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and documented safe driving record.
• Must meet Fleet Insurance Guidelines.
• Must adhere to federal, state, and local rules regarding the operation of a CMV.
• Must execute the best practices of RSR training (after 4-week company paid training).
• Must be able to push or pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Order, sell, and deliver fresh baked products to assigned accounts.
• Increase shelf space and display in-store promotions.
• Rotate products to maximize shelf life.
• Build relationships and drive customer growth through planning and execution.
• Coordinate with customers to meet service windows and flexible hours.
