Job summary

Farmer Brothers in Minnesota is seeking a Route Sales Representative to service customers, stock products, and grow route sales. The role includes delivering coffee, tea, and related products while maintaining strong customer relationships.

You will meet revenue targets, perform daily calls, manage inventories, and support promotions. A valid driver's license and DOT physical are required, with a focus on reliability and excellent service on every route.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years route delivery experience in a B2B setting.
• Previous foodservice industry experience preferred.
• Must have DOT physical, valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Achieves the revenue plan for the route by gaining new customers and increasing products and categories sold.
• Ensures customers receive delivery and service as required.
• Targets a minimum of 1 prospective call per day and 2 new qualifying accounts per quarter.
• Participates in regional and company promotions.
• Increases Revenue per Stop by closing distribution voids and executing promotions.
• Delivers, replenishes, and rotates beverage station products on each call.
• Ensures equipment is clean, functional, and checked daily.
• Recaps services provided and presents business building initiatives to customers.
• Resolves customer issues quickly and escalates when needed.
• Manages invoices, inventory, and collections daily; retains existing customers via excellent service.
