Job summary

Colonial Group in Hibbing, MN is seeking a Route Sales Representative to build strong customer relationships and drive sales growth. You will operate a company step van, manage daily routes for timely deliveries, and promote services and pricing to a diverse client base.

The role offers a 4-day work week with weekends off and requires a high school diploma with a valid driver’s license. Compensation is hourly with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for route expansion.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 with valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Customer service experience with a wide variety of consistent customer contact.
• Strong math and basic computer skills.
• Demonstrated experience selling services/products and generating new business preferred.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and think quickly to identify/solve customer concerns.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a step van and service a variety of clients.
• Manage daily route independently for accurate, timely delivery of product.
• Load/unload product per company policies and guidelines.
• Review invoices daily for complete and accurate information and make corrections as needed.
• Meet sales goals and promote route growth to enhance profitability.
• Develop leads, calls on prospective customers, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts.
