Job summary

UNFI is seeking a field sales associate to partner with assigned customers to ensure the right products are available at the right time and in the right placement. This role requires daily travel to customer locations and effective product displays to drive sales.

You will build strong relationships, process returns, rotate stock, and support promotions while following HACCP/SQF policies. A valid driver's license and ability to travel within the region are essential.

Responsibilities

• Order products aligned with customer needs.
• Display store products effectively.
• Maintain positive business relationships with customers.
• Travel to customer locations daily.
• Rotate stock and remove out-of-code product.
• Process merchandise returns and issue credits.
• Ensure neat appearance of UNFI products.
• Notify customers about product or delivery updates.
• Hang shelf tags and promotional materials.
• Sell promotional programs as assigned.
• Follow HACCP and SQF policies as appropriate.
• Respond to customer product requests.
• Keep management informed of area activities.
• Attend meetings as required.
• Provide backup for other field sales reps.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
