Job summary

UNFI in Utah is seeking a Retail Merchandising Sales Representative to drive sales and deliver consistent merchandising services at assigned customer locations. You will order products, stock shelves, execute resets, and support promotional programs.

You’ll serve as the primary contact for retailers, travel within the region, and collaborate with account managers to meet deadlines and budgets. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in Retail or Distribution.
• Bilingual – Spanish a plus.
• Food related product experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Influence customer orders by identifying sales opportunities and recommending item discontinuations.
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers and merchandising projects.
• Rotate stock, remove out-of-code items, and process returns/credits per policy.
• Regularly communicates with UNFI personnel on competitor activity and sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with supervisors or account managers to develop action plans and meet deadlines.
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment in project planning and selling UNFI Professional Services and product lines.
• Extensive travel could be required within assigned geographical area.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
