Job summary

Vestis is seeking a Route Sales Support Driver in Belmont, IN to build solid relationships with customers while delivering products on a defined route. You will balance exceptional customer service with achieving daily and seasonal sales goals.

Responsibilities include safely operating a step van, loading and unloading, reviewing invoices, developing leads, and communicating pricing and policies to customers. You will work independently in a fast-paced, weather-exposed environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience in customer service with a wide range of client contact.
• Strong math skills and basic computer proficiency.
• Experience selling services/products and generating new business preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently, use good judgment and solve problems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company step van to provide products and service to clients.
• Verify daily vehicle maintenance and keep proper operator documentation.
• Manage daily route independently to ensure timely deliveries.
• Load and unload product per policy and procedure.
• Review invoices daily for accuracy and make corrections as needed.
• Meet sales goals and grow the route to boost profitability.
• Develop leads, call on prospective customers, prepare service agreements and install new accounts.
• Communicate pricing, policies and services clearly to customers.
• Monitor customer feedback and address issues promptly and courteously.
• Follow safe work practices and maintain personal safety.
