Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Ventura, CA is seeking a Route Relief/Utility RSR to support the Service Department by covering routes, assisting with deliveries, and delivering strong customer service. You will learn routes, upsell and cross-sell, handle route paperwork, and maintain safety and vehicle upkeep.

Minimum 21 years old with valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; CDL if applicable. This role offers hourly pay of $28.34, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Have and maintain a valid Driver's License, CDL when applicable and be 21 years or older.
• Maintain a driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding, safety or other violations.
• Demonstrate excellent driving and route sales skills.
• Excellent verbal/written communication in English; follow directions and manage time well.
• Count and certify product counts accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities of a Route Sales Representative and related tasks.
• Learn and support all routes; run routes as needed for holidays or vacancies.
• Assist in rush deliveries, renewals, audits, training and other tasks.
• Solicit new customers, up-sell/cross-sell across service lines; maintain profitable mix.
• Follow company policies and ensure customer loyalty and outstanding service.
• Safely operate a delivery vehicle and keep route paperwork current.
• Handle customer payments and manage inventories for textiles and supplies.
