Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Route Relief Utility Driver to support service departments by delivering and picking up linens on assigned routes, while up-selling services and maintaining strong customer relationships.

You will report to the District Manager and operate in a non-exempt role with adherence to safety standards and SOPs. The position emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and dependable route execution.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license and CDL if applicable.
• Be 21 years or older.
• Maintain a driving record free of major violations.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Two years' experience in sales, customer service, or delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products and pickup soiled linens on routes on time.
• Provide outstanding customer service to build loyalty.
• Communicate with decision-makers and resolve service concerns.
• Follow SOPs for installations, deliveries, and account management.
• Maintain inventories, route books, and customer files.
• Handle payments, credits, and change orders accurately.
• Upsell services and refer leads to Sales.
• Inspect vehicle daily and keep truck clean.
• Load/unload products up to 75 lbs and carts up to 500 lbs.
• Follow safety standards and dress code.
• Collaborate with service, sales, operations as relief driver.
