Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Orlando is seeking a Route Relief Utility Driver to support service teams by delivering and picking up linens across assigned routes, while upselling services and maintaining excellent customer relationships.

This non-exempt role reports to the District Manager and requires focus on safety, route accuracy, and professional communication with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license; CDL when applicable.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Maintain a clean driving record with no major violations.
• Two years of sales, customer service, delivery, or public-facing work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products and pick up soiled linens on assigned routes safely and on time.
• Provide outstanding customer service to build loyalty and relationships.
• Communicate with decision-makers and resolve service concerns proactively.
• Follow SOPs for installations, deliveries, and account management.
• Maintain inventories, route books, and customer files accurately.
• Handle customer payments, credits, and change orders correctly.
• Monitor accounts and report customer feedback or competitive activity.
• Upsell services, promote products, and refer leads to Sales.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and keep the truck clean.
• Load/unload products and move carts up to 500 lbs and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and dress code.
• Collaborate with service, sales, and operations as a relief driver.
