Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Kent, WA is seeking a Route Relief/Utility RSR to support the Service Department by covering routes, assisting with rush deliveries, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will help with up-selling and cross-selling across lines of service, reporting to the District Manager.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and proven driving experience. Strong English communication, time management, and a team orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license; CDL when applicable.
• Maintain a clean driving record free of chargeable accidents or violations.
• Minimum one year of safe and successful driving experience.
• Strong customer service and route sales skills.
• Excellent verbal/written communication in English and good time management; team player.
• Ability to recognize colors, sizes and types and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities of a Route Sales Representative and related tasks.
• Learn and support all routes; run routes on holidays or vacancies.
• Assist in rush deliveries, renewals, audits, training and other tasks.
• Solicit new customers and up-sell/cross-sell across lines of service; ensure profitable product mix.
• Actively participate in promotions, contests, training and audits.
• Follow company policies regarding new customers and managing customer needs.
• Ensure customer loyalty and outstanding service; build relationships and resolve concerns with supervision.
• Safely operate delivery vehicle following laws and policy; maintain vehicle cleanliness and inspections.
• Handle and process customer payments; keep route paperwork current.
• Ensure timely deliveries and proper inventories; service facility maintenance products.
