Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Routing Specialist to perform daily route planning and optimization for dedicated customers across the Ryder network. You will utilize routing software and collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to deliver optimal routes in a timely manner.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and up to 1 year in transportation or supply chain, with familiarity in Power BI and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• 0 to 1 year in transportation or supply chain industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) beginner.
• Familiar with Power BI/Tableau and SQL basics.
• Lean core tools knowledge (5S, Standard Work, Visual Management).

Responsibilities

• Daily route planning for multiple sessions and locations.
• Monitor order processing and route completion for operating teams.
• Produce optimal, executable multi-stop routes per parameters.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
