Kimble Companies in Kentucky is seeking a Routing Optimization & Efficiency Specialist to ensure all routes are optimized and running efficiently. The role demands collaboration with Operations and Customer Service teams to identify improvements and communicate new routing objectives.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong map interpretation skills, possess a High School Diploma or GED, and have experience with route optimization, preferably using ArcGIS and truck routing software. A clean driving record is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret a map and accurately geocode locations.
• Previous route optimization experience in a related industry preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and able to work with multiple functional groups.

Responsibilities

• Minimize both time and miles driven using a computerized process.
• Work with operations team to identify and solve routing issues.
• Communicate new route objectives to Operations personnel.
• Maintain current route goals for all existing and new routes.
• Prepare routing information for Municipality bids.
• Analyze route productivity to determine success of optimized routes.
• Accurately geocode customer locations for timely service.
• Perform time studies to improve route optimization statistics.
