Job summary

Summit School Services LLC is seeking a Route Logistics Analyst to optimize North America’s student transportation network, analyzing routing data and evaluating performance. You will partner with local operations, customers, and internal stakeholders to implement practical routing improvements and maximize resource use.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to translate data into actionable recommendations for field deployment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
Three or more years of operational experience in ground transportation, routing, logistics, or a related field.
Experience using routing software such as Versatrans, Traversa, Transfinder, Trapeze MapNet, or Edulog.
Ability to analyze multiple routing scenarios and recommend solutions based on service, cost, capacity, and customer requirements.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct routing and logistics studies and analyses to identify opportunities for improved efficiency.
Analyze current and historical route operations and customer service performance.
Develop and evaluate alternative routing scenarios and recommend solutions.
Identify recurring routing issues and develop strategic solutions and action plans.
Lead routing projects involving cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
Train internal and external customers on routing principles and software.
Respond to routing questions and troubleshoot software issues.
Travel throughout North America 30–50%.
