Job summary

Signature Retail Services is hiring a Part-Time Route Merchandising Associate in Decatur, AL. You will travel to Home Depot and Lowe's to build displays, execute planograms, and support seasonal resets while earning $16.00–$18.00 per hour with a flexible 15–20 hour schedule.

Training is provided, and the route covers Cullman, Decatur, Huntsville, AL, with regular travel across stores in the territory. Join us for a hands-on role with growth opportunities and bi-weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising is a plus, not required.
• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance; insured driver.

Responsibilities

• Travel independently to stores within your territory using your own vehicle.
• Conduct store audits, execute product resets, and maintain planogram compliance.
• Install price labels, POP materials, fixtures and displays.
• Down-stock merchandise and keep shelves stocked and customer-ready.
• Coordinate with store personnel to check inventory and place orders as needed.
• Be the go-to product expert for store associates and customers.
• Manage your schedule to complete visits and projects on time.

Part‑Time Route Merchandising Associate

Signature Retail Services is hiring a Part‑Time Route Merchandising Associate in our Decatur, AL market! This role offers a flexible schedule of approximately 15 – 20 hrs per week, with a starting pay rate of $16.00– $18.00 per hour. As a Route Merchandising Associate, you'll travel to big box Home Improvement stores such as The Home Depot and Lowe's to build displays, execute planograms, support seasonal resets, and help keep stores looking their best for customers and our clients. Your Territory

This route services store locations in Cullman, Decatur, Huntsville, AL and surrounding areas. Regular travel to all stores in the territory is essential for this role.

What You'll Do

• Travel independently throughout your assigned territory using your personal vehicle to service store locations.
• Conduct store audits, execute product resets, merchandise products, and maintain planogram compliance.
• Install price labels, point-of-purchase materials, fixtures, and displays.
• Down-stock merchandise, maintain shelf conditions, and keep products fully stocked and customer-ready.
• Partner with store personnel to check inventory levels, flag replenishment needs, and place product orders as needed.
• Be the go-to product expert for store associates and customers.
• Represent Signature Retail Services and our client partners professionally in every store you visit.
• Manage your schedule so visits and projects are completed on time, every time.
• Communicate promptly about attendance, scheduling, or anything that could affect a store visit.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be 18 or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Located within approximately 30 minutes of the assigned territory.
• A valid driver's license and current auto insurance, with you listed as an insured driver.
• Access to a reliable personal vehicle to travel between store locations on your route.
• A smartphone with phone, text, email, and internet access for daily communication and reporting.
• Previous merchandising, fixture installation, and in-store project experience is a plus but not required - we offer paid weekday training for motivated candidates.
• This is a physically active role that requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, and climbing rolling staircases or step ladders to retrieve and stock products. You'll also regularly lift and move products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
