Job summary

Continental is seeking a Route Merchandiser to service vending routes in Walbridge, OH. You will use a company vehicle and tablet to manage inventory, restock products, and maintain clean equipment while delivering strong customer service.

Responsibilities include inventory control, route optimization, cash handling, and training new merchandisers as needed. Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required for daily duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in delivery, route driving, merchandising, or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; able to read, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory levels across product categories and complete inventory counts as required.
• Restock shelves, coolers, and displays with proper product rotation and adherence to inventory tracking procedures.
• Load and unload products safely using proper lifting techniques.
• Deliver merchandise using a company vehicle and ensure perishable items are handled and refrigerated.
• Collect money from kiosks and vending machines and record transactions accurately.
• Monitor safety and security; report unusual activity.
• Perform routine cleaning of equipment and store areas to maintain a clean POS.
• Provide training to new Route Merchandisers as needed.
