Job summary

Five Star Breaktime Solutions is seeking a Retail Route Merchandiser to stock vending machines and micro-markets across client locations in Ohio. This role emphasizes independent work, customer service, safe driving, and building relationships while representing the company.

You’ll restock, rotate inventory, report feedback, and ensure freshness of snacks, beverages, and fresh food. A valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and DOT compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Must consent to a drug screen and pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the route.
• Must be 21+ to meet DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products according to store layouts and POGs.
• Roll-out promotions and gather/report customer feedback.
• Maintain inventory levels for all products sold (snacks, drinks, fresh food, etc.).
• Restock shelves, coolers, and coffee; rotate stock to minimize spoilage.
• Load/unload products safely; drive company vehicle for deliveries.
• Communicate changes to management and adjust schedules as needed.
• Greet clients/customers professionally and upsell where appropriate.
• Complete full inventory counts as designated by protocol.
• Inspect food quality and appearance; report stale items.
