Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Asheboro, NC is seeking a Merchandiser to present products at customer retail locations, service multiple bulk accounts, and follow planograms with safe handling and quality guidelines.

The route includes Asheboro and surrounding areas, with mileage reimbursement between stores. You will communicate with store management, set up point-of-sale materials, rotate stock, and build relationships with store personnel.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills to satisfy diverse customer demands and expectations.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively).
• Able to work reliably and independently with little daily supervision.
• Strong critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and shelf per procedures and programs.
• Physically moves product from backroom to display area.
• Creates and distributes point-of-sale materials on display and shelf; rotates product.
• Maintains back room by stacking and organizing product by package and flavor; manages returns of damaged/outdated stock.
• Fosters relationships with store personnel through follow-up on requests, pricing, programs and opportunities.
