Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking a Merchandiser to stock and present products at customer retail locations in the Asheboro area. You will follow planograms, move products from backrooms to displays, and collaborate with store personnel to support planned programs.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking & writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills and satisfy diverse customer needs.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repeatedly).
• Able to work reliably and independently with little daily supervision.
• Demonstrates critical thinking skills.
• Company provided cell phone available.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and programs.
• Physically moves product from backroom to display.
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials on display and shelf, rotates product and checks vendor operations.
• Organizes back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor; manages pallets and damaged/expired items.
• Fosters business relationships with store personnel through follow-up on requests and new opportunities.
