Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Louisville is seeking a Bulk Account Merchandiser to manage selling, ordering and presenting products along assigned routes, driving merchandising excellence and customer engagement.

You will execute promotions, stock displays, coordinate with store personnel and ensure safe handling and quality guidelines while contributing to revenue and gross profit.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively).
• Critical thinking skills and high initiative are important.

Responsibilities

• Manages, sells, and executes for an assigned group of customers on daily routes and generates sales orders to support revenue and gross profit.
• Executes promotions and new products based on target lists and marketing initiatives to ensure RED scores for assigned customers.
• Fills, merchandises, and rotates products on display and shelf per procedures and programs.
• Organizes and maintains back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor, handling returns as needed.
• Creates and distributes point-of-sale materials on display and on shelves where permitted; rotates products and checks vendor operations.
• Fosters business relationships with store personnel through follow-up, proactive pricing, and upcoming activities.
• Identifies competitive issues or market activities and communicates them to support the business while adhering to safety guidelines.
