Job summary

Continental in Akron is seeking a Route Merchandiser to service vending machines and markets, deliver OCS orders, and keep equipment clean. You will use a company vehicle and tablet to manage inventory and ensure proper product rotation, including checking expiration dates.

You will maintain accurate inventory across beverages, snacks, and fresh items, count and reorder stock, restock displays, and handle cash collection with accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license; Chauffeur’s license where required.
• DOT requirements and background check may apply.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory across product categories and perform counts.
• Restock shelves and displays with proper rotation.
• Unload/load products safely using appropriate equipment.
• Deliver merchandise using a company vehicle and ensure perishables are refrigerated.
• Monitor temperatures of coolers and report deviations.
• Collect cash from kiosks and record transactions.
• Report safety concerns and initiate service requests for equipment.
• Clean and maintain the work area and POS environment.
• Provide training to new Route Merchandisers as needed.
• Perform additional assigned tasks.
