Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Route Floater to load, deliver, and service client locations in Warren, OH. The role requires driving a company vehicle, stocking products, and maintaining refrigeration and inventory across routes.

You will fill in for route coverage as needed and interact positively with customers and AVI teams. The position emphasizes a strong work ethic, reliability, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the capacity to work independently with excellent time management.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) and a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load company vehicle with all products needed to service locations.
• Drive to transport products to client locations.
• Fill in for service or delivery routes as needed.
• Deliver, load and unload products and food as requested.
• Stock shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of cold food products in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee ordering and inventory control.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise and money from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Manage the care of the company vehicle.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Route Floater.

This is a full-time position in Warren, OH.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Fill in for Service Routes or Delivery Routes as needed
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle
