Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a dependable Route Floater to start at 5am, Monday through Friday, in Mentor, OH. This full-time role may include occasional Saturday mornings. You will load vehicles, transport products to client locations, and assist routes as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) and a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations.
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations.
• Fill in for Service Routes or Delivery Routes as needed.
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Manage the care of the company vehicle.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Route Floater, Full-time, in Mentor, OH. This position has an early morning start time at 5am, Monday-Friday. Occasional Saturday morning work.
