Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hard-working Route Floater to join our team in Seymour, Alabama. As a full-time role, you will load and deliver products, manage inventories, and ensure proper refrigeration at client sites while providing positive customer service.

The position requires physical capability, a valid driver’s license (CDL not required), and the ability to pass a DOT physical, with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver's license (CDL not required) and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load and transport products to client locations in the company vehicle.
• Deliver, load, and unload products as requested.
• Stock shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers and ensure refrigeration of items.
• Oversee ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise and collect payments from machines.
• Maintain and clean the company vehicle; perform routine maintenance.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Route Floater, Full-time.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Fill in for Service Routes or Delivery Routes as needed
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
