AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Service Route Driver for a full-time role in Ohio. You will load, transport, and stock products at client locations, ensure proper refrigeration, and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety.

The position requires 21+ years old, a valid driver's license (CDL not required), ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a professional, customer-focused demeanor. Growth opportunities are available within a family-oriented company.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) and good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load company vehicle with products for service locations.
• Drive to client locations and deliver, load, and unload products.
• Stock shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold products in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee ordering and inventory control; collect unsold merchandise.
• Collect money from machines and maintain accurate records.
• Interact positively with customers and AVI team members.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver's license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
