Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hard-working individual to join as a Service Route Floater, full-time in Indiana. You will load and service vending and food accounts, drive to client locations, stock machines, and ensure products are properly refrigerated.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver's license (CDL not required) and good driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality and ability to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and AVI team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicle is loaded with product for service locations.
• Drive to client locations to transport products and food.
• Deliver, load, and unload products as requested.
• Stock shelves in vending machines or coolers.
• Maintain refrigeration of all products in truck and accounts.
• Oversee ordering and inventory control.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines (coins and bills).
• Communicate positively with customers.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines.
• Manage care of the company vehicle.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle
• Requirements:
• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
