Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hard-working Route Floater to support routes in Wilmington, NC. This full-time role runs Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, focusing on loading, delivering, stocking and maintaining cold products across client locations.

Ideal candidates are 21+ with a valid driver’s license, able to pass the DOT physical and lift up to 50 pounds. A strong sense of customer service and reliable time management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load the company vehicle with all product needed to service locations.
• Drive to transport products to client locations.
• Fill in for service or delivery routes as needed.
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested.
• Stock shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and accounts.
• Oversee order intake and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers and team members.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and sanitation at accounts.
• Manage care of the company vehicle.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Route Floater, Full-time. This position is located in Wilmington, NC. The schedule for this position is Tuesday-Saturday, 6am-2:30pm.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Fill in for Service Routes or Delivery Routes as needed
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle
