Job summary

CertaSite is seeking a Route Sales & Service Level I technician to perform inspection, testing, service, and repairs on fire extinguishers, exit lights, and kitchen hood suppression systems. The role emphasizes customer focus, safety compliance, and growth within a mission-driven company.

Ideal candidates have experience in fire protection routes, basic math skills, and proficiency with common computer applications. Travel, nights, and weekends may be required depending on location; a valid U.S.

Qualifications

• 90 days of experience training on or working a route in fire protection.
• Ability to calculate basic math including fractions, decimals and percentages.
• Proficiency with basic computer functions and software (Windows, Word, iOS, Android, Outlook).
• Must currently have a valid U.S. drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, testing, service, and repairs for life safety products.
• Learn pre-engineered suppression systems and related maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and repair fire extinguishers, exit/emergency lights, and kitchen hood systems.
• Record and document inspections, repairs, and recommendations.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and coordinate follow-up and quotes.
