Job summary

CertaSite is seeking a route sales & service Level II technician to inspect, test, service, and repair fire extinguishers, exit/emergency lights, and hood suppression systems. You will confirm compliance with life-safety standards and company requirements, travel as needed, and uphold safety and customer service excellence.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in route sales and service in fire life safety, valid US driver’s license, and comfort with ladders and heights.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of route sales and service experience in fire life safety.
• Ability to calculate basic math including fractions, decimals and percentages.
• Knowledge of basic computer functions and industry software; familiar with Windows, Word, iOS, Android and Outlook.
• Must have valid U.S. driver\'s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, testing, service, and repairs for fire extinguishers, exit/emergency lights, and pre-engineered suppression systems.
• Troubleshoot and service fire extinguishers, exit/emergency lights, and hood suppression systems.
• Record and document inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations electronically or manually.
• Maintain a positive relationship with customers and relay information for follow-up, quotes, or questions.
• Keep vehicle clean and stocked with parts/equipment to perform the job.
• Maintain equipment and tools to safely perform job.
• Evaluate customer site for additional equipment and services the customer may require.
• Work in compliance with the Company\'s safety program.
• Discuss deficiencies noted with customer and explain the resolution.
• Some locations may require nights/weekends/holidays; certain locations more often.
• Must be comfortable with heights, ladders, or lifts, or in confined spaces.
